Creative Control: A Celebration of International Day of People with Disability

To celebrate International Day of People with Disability 2020, we’ve partnered with the Brotherhood of St. Laurence (BSL) in delivering an online program showcasing the diverse talents and abilities of people with disability in the community. Creative Control is an accessible online program of events featuring visual art, writing, theatre and film experiences over one week from 3-10 December.

Seven Days of Writing

This year for International Day for People with Disability, Writers Victoria is collaborating with the Brotherhood of Saint Laurence to share some amazing stories by writers with disability. Each day from 3 – 9 September, a new story will appear here and on the Brotherhood of Saint Laurence Creative Control blog.

Experience the work of seven talented and diverse Australian writers across seven days with Writers Victoria. Join writers Jax Jacki Brown, Anat Bigos, Christine Davey-White, Binh Pham, CB Mako,Tully Zygier and Fiona Murphy, as they release a piece of writing each day that will be showcased on the Creative Control blog. These commissioned works will launch on the Creative Control blog on 3 December.
