Brunch with Gideon Haigh: Delve into the stories and scandals of 1920s Melbourne with Gideon Haigh, the author of A Scandal in Bohemia. Gideon is an independent journalist with more than thirty years of experience and has a keen interest in cricket and historical true crime (though not yet at the same time), and will provide an entertaining and enlightening brunch companion. Writing about Art: A picture can paint a thousand words, but how many words does it take to paint a picture? Join Katherine Kovacic, Bella Li, and Emily Bitto, all writers accomplished in the art of writing about art, to discuss the joys and challenges of working with visual art through the medium of language and building visions with words.
