Our library is located on the third floor of The Wheeler Centre, right next to our office. The library is open between 10am and 4pm on weekdays.

We have a range of reference books available to read on site or for purchase. Our industry reference books include 'The Australian Writers' Marketplace,' which lists all publishers and agents in Australia.
Our comprehensive range will help you keep up to date with the literary scene. Enjoy 'Meanjin', 'GRANTA', 'Overland' and the 'Australian Book Review', among others.
Professional writing guides
Learn more about plot, characterisation and genre. Members have access to more than two hundred books written for professionals and beginners that address aspects of the craft of writing including 'Writing Your Life' by Patricia Charpentier.
Novels, Biography, Poetry and Plays
Settle into a comfy chair and tuck into some prize-winning fiction, non-fiction and more. There’s even a whole bookshelf of books written by Writers Victoria members.
